Cotswold International Film & Video
Festival
Sadly this festival came to an end on 6th September 2008.
Its founder and organiser, Lee Prescott, retired and no one was willing to
take on the festival.
It ran from 2000 - 2008 and had separate categories for Amateur, Open and
Student entries. Slightly different lengths were allowed for each category.
For amateur entries there was a maximum length of 16 minutes. Some amateurs
chose to enter in the Open category because the maximum length there was
22 minutes.
The festival used a form for judges' comments and had a strict rule that
judges must not confer.
It gave modest cash prizes for the top winners, diplomas and written comments
from judges for all entrants.
Their website has details of the past nine years.
